sir,what is the last date of submitting exam form,for december 2011 exam.also clear that what creteria is necessary to pass the exam.will 30 percent of each subject be consider or not ?

CPT stands for the Common Proficiency Test. It is the entrance examination conducted in the month of June and December every year by the Institute of Chartered Accountants every year. The important dates for CPT 2011 and 2015 June exam is already over.

Any candidate who has passed his/her 10+2 from any stream can apply for the CPT exam. It is the first stage of Chartered Accountancy course followed by Integrated Professional Competence course and final course.

CPT is an objective exam and consists of 200 questions of 200 marks from Economics, Aptitude, Mercantile law and Accountancy. To clear the test, a candidate must obtain 50% aggregate of overall marks and 30% marks in each subject mentioned above.
