Yes definitely , it is possible to appear for this exam after compleating your BTech course.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has organised a Common Written Examination (CWE) for selecting Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees for 19 Public sector banks which are :- Oriental Bank of Commerce, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Allahabad Bank , Indian Overseas Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of India, Punjab & Sind Bank Bank of Maharashtra , Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank , Union Bank of India Central Bank of India , United Bank of India, Corporation Bank , UCO Bank, Dena Bank , Vijaya Bank, and Indian Bank The eligibility for appearing in this exam is a graduation or a Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognised institute. Since you also hold a Bachelors degree in Technology(BTech), you are also eligible for appearing in Common Written Examination. The eligibility criterion for age is that you must have also compleated 20 years of age to be eligible to appear in this examination.You can also apply even if you are in your final year of engineering course.The date for this year examination was 18.09.2011 which has already passed.So you can only apply next time. |

when i went for my IBPS exam,as demamded in net to bring caste certificate and summit it with the other documents along answer sheet but my certificate is not taken there why this much carelessness?????????????????????????????????????? ????????

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Common written Examination for recruitment in Clerical Cadre in 19 Public Sector Banks . Education Qualification:- i) Degree in any Discipline from a recognized University of India ii) Applicants must have the working Knowledge of Computers iii) Applicants must be able to Read, write and Speak the Local language of the state. Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years old. Dear Friend, IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection If you have completed graduation degree from recognized University then you are eligible for this exam,..... Age limit should be Not exist 28 years there is a relaxation available for OBC and SC/ST category students... EXAM PATTERN:

IBPS Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:-
~You need to be a citizen of India. ~You need to be a graduate in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university or a deemed university recognized as such by the Central Government. ~The minimum percentage to acquire at graduation level has not been mentioned so pass marks is enough. ~You need to be proficient in the local language of the State where you are applying. ~You need to have the operating and working knowledge of computer systems.
