Candidates holding a masters degree in Biological Sciences has to take the National Eligibility Test in Life Sciences conducted jointly by University Grant Commission (UGC) and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).


The National Eligibility Test for Life Sciences will comprise of three parts:

• Part A:General Sciences.
• Part B and Part C: Life Sciences.
