Hi....Dear
There are various entry schemes in Indian Air Force according to qualification of wise..You can apply for Indian Air Force after 12th or after graduation or after post graduation too.

The entry schemes along with eligibility criteria are as mentioned below.

**For 12th passed student:-

>> NDA examination
Qualification : 12th pass with PCM subjects.
Age : 16.5-19 years.

** Airmen Group 'X' (Technical Trades)
Qualification : You should be 12th (with PCM subjects) passed with at least 50% marks in aggregate
or passed in 3-year Diploma in Engineering course (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/
Automobile/Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology)
with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a Govt. recognized Polytechnic Institute.
Age : 17-22 years

** Group 'Y'
Qualification : You should be 12th pass (in any discipline) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
Age : 17-22 years

**For Graduates:-

>> CDS examination (UPSC)
Qualification :You should be a graduate of any discipline from a recognised university
(with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or
BE / B Tech degree holder
Age : 19-22 years


>>NCC Special Entry
Qualification : You should be graduate in any discipline from a recognised university
(with Physics and Maths. at 10+2 level) with at least 60% marks in aggregate
in Graduation
or BE / B. Tech. holder with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
and
NCC Air Wing Senior Division 'C' certificate.
Age: 19-25 years


** Pilot Entry through Short Service Commission

Qualification : You should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university
(with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) with at least 60% marks in aggregate
or BE / B. Tech. holder with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
Age: 19-23 years

**Entry Scheme for engineers

>> University Entry Scheme (UES)
Qualification : You can apply for this entry scheme during prefinal year of B.Tech.
You must score 60% or above in the B.Tech. or equivalent degree.
Age: 18-28 (18-25 for unmarried candidates)

** Direct Entry Scheme (DES)
Qualification : You can apply for this entry scheme B.E./B.Tech./equivalent exam
with at least 60% marks.
Age: 18-28 (18-25 for unmarried candidates)
