- English Grammar in use- Third Edition by Raymond Murphy.

- Magical Book Series : Rules of English Grammar and usage by K. Kundan.

-Popular master guide : M.A English Entrance Test by R. Gupta

- Master guide for M.A English Entrance Test published by Arihant.

- JNU Previous years solved papers M.A English Entrance Test by Arihant publication.

Apart from the above books, you need to follow your bachelor level of study books also because the question paper for the entrance examination is set according to the syllabus of the bachelor level of study as per the norms of UGC entrance exam.
