The aeronautics and aerospace engineering sector is treated as one of the prestigious and well salaried job section. Mechanical engineering itself is a core branch with very good opportunities. So after a higher education in aerospace the chances becomes better. But for that you should take a better institute as well so that you get a good exposure to companies. The job opportunities are in various airlines services, DRDO, ISRO, HAL etc. IITs (Bombay, kanpur, Madrad and KGP) offers four different Mtech programs in aerospace engineering for mechanical engineering graduates. The admission is being made on the basis of GATE. You should have a first class in graduation and more than 95 percentile in GATE to secure your chances in IITs. Thank You |
