how many marks need for qualifying Intelligence beaure exam..please tell me the marks needed

I think negative marking is there in Intelligence bureo exam ...
if you should get atleast 50% marks in this exams, then you are qualify in this exams, and those who get maximum marks , they are go for interview and for final selection.

Selection is done via a Written Test comprising of two papers
Paper I:
Objective type containing questions on
1. General awareness
2. General knowledge
3. English language
4. Reasoning
5. Mathematical aptitude
Paper II:
Descriptive type consisting of:
a. Essay
b. Precis writing

Eligibility for IB:--

Graduation from a recognized University or equivalent.

hai in this intelligence bureau exam qualifying marks 50%.but the competition is high so you do work hard.so you try to maximum marks ,and i think there is no negative marking so do hard work and get job.and you prepare timetable based on that you can do hard work definitely you can get job good luck.

you need to have 50% of the maximum marks in order to qualify the exam......
and qualifying the exam does't necessarily mean that you'll be called for recritment you need to score high.

the exam is conducted by upsc every year...
the exam this year is on 10 july 2011
the exam consists of two paper
the pattern will be same as of ssc
the duration will be 2 hours
paper i will be objective type that will test following aspects
general awareness
general reasoning
english
mathematics
paper II will be descriptive type that will test of
essay
precise writing
keep in mind about the negative marking also.....
after getting success in written exam there will be an interview..

The Exam Pattern and Syllabus for Intelligence Officers 2013 will be as follows :-

• Paper I(Objective Type) -

1. General Awareness/General Knowledge.
2. Reasoning.
3. Comprehension.Mathematical Skills.

• Paper II(Descriptive Type) - This Paper will include 10 questions from English Language and you will have to write answers in your own words for the given topics/questions.

Total marks for this paper will be 100.
Total number of questions will be 100.
Total time duration will be 2 hours.


As per my experience related to this exam which was last held in Year 2011 in the month of June,questions was as follows :-

• General Knowledge and General Awareness - Total number of questions 80.In this exam most of the questions will be asked from the G.K .Thus if you want to get success you should have good command on General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
• Reasoning,English Language and Mathematical Skills - Total number of questions will be 20.

Last year cut off marks was 80 out of 100.Thus candidates who belongs from the General and OB category will have to get 80 marks minimum.Candidates who belongs from the SC/ST category will have to get minimum of 60 marks out of 100.

Hi friend........

There is no min percentage required for the qualifying Intelligence Bureau.

Candidate need the Graduation from any recognized University.

And this exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.
