CPT Exam Qualifying Criteria -

To clear the CPT examination, You have To Scored Minimum 50% Marks in Aggregate And 30% in Each Subjects.

It means You Have to Score 100 Marks Out Of 200.

And if you have give the wrong answers in this examination then your 0.25 Marks Will be deducted For Every Wrong Answer.


Examination Pattern -

One Paper of 200 Marks Divided in to Two Session of 2 hours Each.


Subject In CPT -

Accounts - 60 marks

Mercantile law - 40 marks

Economics - 50 marks

Maths and Stats - 50 marks.

Hello friend,
The Common Proficiency Test (CPT) comprises of 200 marks with provision of negative marking.
The paper includes four sections
Section A-Fundamentals of Accounting
Section B-Mercantile Laws
Section C- General Economics
Section D- Quantitative Aptitude

To qualify the exam, you will have to score a minimum of 50% , i.e. 100 marks.
