Marks required in 12th for admission to Law? Name of colleges?


i just give my 12th exam from commerce and i am interested in law i want to become lawyer so i wanted to know how much minimum percentage i need to take admission in law colleges and i want names of college with percentage need to take admission in it pleas help me

After Completing 12th, You Are Eligible To Apply For 5 Year LLB Course.
  • So, The Minimum Eligibility As To Get Admission To The 5 Year LLB Program Is To Have A 10+2 Pass With Minimum 40% Marks.
  • And You must Have Attained 17 Years Of Age At The Time Of Admission.
But To Admission in LLB Course, You Have To Give The CLAT Entrance Examination, Only Then You Will Get Admission In Top LLB Colleges Of India.

If you want to interested in LAW then you can give the LAW entrance exam after 12th pass. If you have 60% in the 12th board exam then you are eligible for all Good college who offer LAW course. Many college take admission at 50% marks in the 12th class.

For getting admission to Top Colleges of Law you will have to clear the CLAT paper because this paper only offers admission to top Law Colleges.

How to join these Law Colleges:
* 12th studying student or 12th completed students.
* Age should be below 20 years and 22 years in case of SC/ST/PWD.
* Relaxation for OBC is subject to reservation at the university concerned.

*Every year CLAT is conducted in the month of May.

To get the admission in the Bachelor of Law (LLB) colleges.

Eligibility criteria:
  • Minimum age should be 17 years
  • Minimum 50% in the 12th standard

Please help... ILS Pune mentioned in their website that minimum % for BSLLLB admission is 45% ,however, when we went there today to collect the prospectus , they mentioned they need 90% and above. Is that their own cut off marks for their colleger or where does the 45% requrement goes. Someone please help us understand this.... Thanks

You can give the CLAT exam to study law in the top national law universities in India.
To give this entrance exam you should have minimum 50% in aggregate and your age should not be more than 20 years.

After 12th one can be admitted to 5 years Integrated Under Graduate Law Degree fro which he has to apply for entrance exam like CLAT.

CLAT - COMMON LAW ENTRANCE TEST conducted by NLU(National Law University) for admission to 5 years Integrated Law Degree.

THE CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE COMPLETED 12TH IN ANY STREAM WITH 50% MARKS FROM A RECOGNISED BOARD ABOVE THE AGE OF 17 YEARS AND WITHIN 20 YEARS.

i just give my 12th exam from Arts and i am interested in law i want to become lawyer so i wanted to know how much minimum percentage i need to take admission in law colleges and i want names of college with percentage need to take admission in it pleas help me.

hi friend,

for getting admission in Law you have to apply for LLB.

LLA stands for bechlore of Law.

Here is the eligibility:

--> A candidate should have completed their 12th or equivalent study from recognise board.

--> A candidate should have pass their 12th with atleast 50%.
