NEET Exam Details:-

For MBBS now has come an All India Medical Entrance Test. It's name is NEET or National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. With the NEET score you are eligible to apply in most of the medical colleges that falls under it. This exam will be conducted by the CBSE board.

AIIMS New Delhi, Armed Forces Medical College and Post Graduate Institute for Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh will conduct their own exam and therefore with NEET Score you cant apply in these colleges.

Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizen of India can appear for this examination. For this exam it is important to firstly complete HS exam from a recognized board and along with that you also need to secure 50% of marks in PCM.

It is important to guarantee pass marks in PCM and English. This exam can also be given by the final year students.

To give this exam your age should not be lower than 17 years and if you want to apply for the All India Quota Seats then the upper age limit is 25 years. There is five years relaxation for the Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes

Please Note:- For seeking admission to MBBS/BDS courses you need to get 50 percentile in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test. Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes needs to get 40 percentile instead.
