IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. Formally referred as Civil Services Exam, this exam is conducted by UPSC every year. Recently, Preliminary Exam was conducted on 18th June 2017. In the first stage, you will get two GS papers that will contain General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning questions. For these sections, you must read English newspapers daily. You can refer Manorma Year Book. For quantitative aptitude and reasoning, you can choose Arun Sharma's book which are very helpful. At last, you can also join coaching institutes that are very helpful for overall preparation to UPSC exam.
