Is maths necessary for B.Sc Agriculture? What is the eligibility to appear for Veterinary Entrance Test?
Is maths necessary for B.Sc Agriculture? Biology group student can give Veterinary Entrance Test (VET) for B.Sc Agriculture or not? I am hearing lots of romors, don't know what's true.

No, it is not necessary to have mathematics as main paper in bachelor degree to appear for B.Sc Agriculture course.
Candidates with PCB ( Physics, Chemistry, and Biology ) in 12th std are also eligible to appear for entrance examination to get admission in the course. Yes, for admission in BV.Sc course the required qualification is that candidate must have passed 12th with PCB as main paper. The entrance examination is conducted by most of the institutes and state government for admission in the course. |

All India Pre Veterinary Entrance Test was replaced by National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.
Mathematics is not necessary for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture course. Candidates from both subject group Mathematics as well as Biology are eligible for Bachelor's degree in Agriculture. You should have minimum of 50% marks in 12th to apply for entrance exams. You can also apply for All India Entrance Examination for Admission in B.Sc in Agriculture. It is conducted by ICAR every year. |

Yes, candidates with PCM are eligible to appear for B.Sc but it is not mandatory to have mathematics as main paper.
B.Sc Agriculture is four years duration course. The eligibility to get admission in course is that:- Candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology stream are also eligible. The minimum required aggregate is 60%. The age limit is 17 years but varies with universities. So, you can visit the official website of the respective university to get admission. Yes, only candidates with biology stream are eligible for VET conducted by the state government and private institutes. |

Mathematics is not necessary for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.
The requirements for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture course; Academic qualification: PCM or PCB subjects in 12th board. Minimum of 50% marks in it. Biology group students can apply for B.Sc in Agriculture and Veterinary Entrance Test also. ICAR conducts AIEEA exam for B.Sc in Agriculture. |

No, mathematics is not necessary for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.
Candidates from both subject group PCM and PCB can apply for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Biology group student can give Veterinary Entrance Test. Other than this, you can apply for ICAR AIEEA exam for B.Sc in Agriculture course. The minimum age limit to pursue this course is 17 years. |

No, mathematics is not compulsory to get admission in B.Sc Agriculture course.
The required qualification to appear for B.Sc Ag. the course is that candidate must have passed 12th with PCB/PCM as main paper. So, you can appear for the entrance examination to get admission in B.Sc Agriculture course. For admission in BV.Sc course the required eligibility is that candidate must have passed 12th with PCB stream. The entrance examination is conducted by colleges and universities for admission in course. |
