what the maximum Age limit for PO jobs in bank in india in SC/ST...could u pleaes tell me the limit

some times, the age limit for banks to banks are varying ..
but as usually the age limit for a general candidate is 21-30 years,.
there are 5 years of age relaxations for S\ST candidates i.e. 21-35.

also 3 yaesr of age relaxations for a OBC candidate i.e. 21-33 years.....
for appear in this exams you must have to complete your graduation in nay stream from a recognized college.

No. of attempts-
4 for a general candidate
7 for a OBC candidate
no such limit for a SC\ST candidate....

The minimum eligibility for SBI PO exam is:

Age:Minimum 21 years MAximum 30 year for general candidate and

Five year relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

The eligibility criteria for bank PO differs from bank-bank.Bank PO exam is a exam for recruiting bank probationary officer.

Eligibility criteria:
The candidate must have completed his/her graduation in a recognized university with 60% aggregate.Some banks prefer for 55% aggregate.

If you are Interested to apply for Bank PO Examination Post, then for this you have to complete your Graduate degree course, because graduation is the minimum eligibility to apply for Bank PO Examination.

You can apply for Nationalized bank PO Examination OR Private bank PO Examination, The eligibility Criteria are vary form banks to banks, But to apply for Nationalized Bank PO Examination like SBI then for this you have complete your graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised University, But to apply for this examination your age should between 21 to 30 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates. There will be 5 year relaxation is applicable for SC/ST Candidates and 3 Year relaxation is applicable for OBC Candidates.

You can also apply for IBPS Bank PO Examination, And for this examination you need to complete your Graduate degree course and your age should between 20 to 30 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates. Final year graduate candidates are not eligible for Bank PO Recruitment Examination.

You can also apply for Private bank Examination and for this you have to complete your Graduate degree course with minimum 55% marks and your age should not be more than 25 years.

The candidate age should be 21 years and 30 years of the examination and relaxation is given to various reserved categories.The categories are SC/ST/OBC/PH.

10 years relaxation for PH category.

5 years relaxation for SC/ST category.

3 years relaxation for OBC category.

There are two major Bank PO entrance exams in India. First is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services for 19 Public Sector Banks. While the second Bank PO is conducted by the State Bank of India.

The relaxation in both the exams is 5 years in upper age limit for the Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe. Although the age limit is different in the two exams.


IBPS Bank PO Eligibility

1. Exam only accepts Indian nationals.

2. You should have a bachelor degree.

3. No less than 60 percent marks in graduation.

4. A certificate in Computers operations is required.

5. or you should have Computer Science/IT subject in School or college.

6. The age limit is 20 to 28 years for IBPS Bank PO.

Bank of India is a public sector bank.

All the public sector banks except SBI have joined hands with IBPS to conduct the common written exam for the recruitment of PO positions in all public sector banks.

For this academic year IBPS PO Exam notification has not come yet. Hope it will be released in couple of months or next month.
