Re: Maximum age limit to join MBBS course? Maximum age limit to appear for entrance exam?
Commonly candidates who are 17 years or above can apply for the test. Most of the exam keep an upper limit of 25 years. Also they do give some relaxations for those who are from the SC/ST. It varies between 3 to 5 years. It is advisable to read the instructions carefully before applying.

In India there are various entrance exams conducted for entry to the MBBS courses across the country.
However, it is not possible to provide details regarding all such entrance exams but I can give you some idea pertaining to the same to help you out in this matter. Some of the top MBBS entrance exams in the country are AIIMS-MBBS, AIPMT,AFMC. Now for all the above mentioned exams, the minimum age limit is that a candidate must have attained minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of exam. Upper Age Limit: The upper age limit for AFMC is 22 years. While that for AIPMT is 25 years. So you can obtain a rough idea that minimum age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years. So I hope, you have got an idea on your doubt. However, for details, please visit the official website in case for a clear knowledge. |
