Re: Is MBA suitable after my BSc Botany Hons Degree? Details to get a job?
MBA is a management course & in this Job opportunity and salary package is very high. After bsc you can join MBA to let you enter the corporate field. But you will not be benefited to get the degrees of both Bsc +MBA.So I suggest you to not to do MBA after your Botany Hons Degree.
After completing B.sc with Botany, there are number of options for you to pursue as higher study. 1. You can do m.Sc with Botany/ M.Sc in biochemistry/biotechnology/food science etc.. 2. These days career in clinical research is also very much on demand because of the increasing rate of Govt and private clinical labs and research institutes. 3. You can pursue M.sc in clinical research from reputed institutes like : CREMA, ICRI etc. because its really a fascinating field which provides you both- a bright career and a well earning job. On an average a scientist is earning more than 50,000 a month with lots of facilities provided. The jobs are available both in private as well public sectors. Also bsc botany let you to become a good academician. |

Dear Aspirant,
MBA, as the name already tells is a Management program that prepares people for managerial posts. So, if you're looking to take up and form your career in management you should choose it or else if you're looking for research/ scientist kinda job then you should go for Msc in botany, purely depends on your interest and will. Hope this helps. Thanks!! |

Re: Is MBA suitable after my BSc Botany Hons Degree? Details to get a job?
MBA course is ever green in the market. The candidates who have completed MBA course can go for job opportunities in variety of business sectors as each and every industry need MBA candidates in order to manage various day to day operations.
Having such a career scope, you can get good job after completion of MBA course. Candidates who have completed Graduation with any of the stream are eligible to join MBA course but the thing is that they should score minimum of 50% of marks in Graduation. Coming to you, You have done your Graduation in Botany which is a life science stream. You can join MBA course. But I did not see any specialization in MBA course related to Botany. However some of the specializations related to life sciences in MBA course are MBA in Hospital Management MBA in Pharmaceutical Management These are the 2 courses that I can suggest for you. These 2 specializations are being offered by less number of colleges in India. So, collect the list of colleges which are offering these specializations in MBA and know the selection procedure to get admission for MBA course in these colleges and prepare accordingly. Try to get admission in B-Schools so that you will be having more scope to get good job opportunities. Wish you all the best. |
