I am doing bsc(hons.) with botany from AMU. I want to know what to do after bsc.

Hello,
After B.Sc the best option is Msc in Botany.As you know master degree is must for getting high profile jobs. So if you want to built your good career you must acquire degrees as much as you can.
Botany field has also wide area of scope as many organization provides part time jobs while learning. So you can make some money simultaneously with the studies.
So this is the best option for you to grab good jobs.
However you can also apply for MBA or M.S courses from any recognized university as you have graduate degree. but it won't gives you the specialization in the field of Botany.

for you the best scope is msc tokstology,.......

Hello friend,

After completing B.sc with Botany, there are number of options for you to pursue as higher study.

You can do m.Sc with Botany/ M.Sc in biochemistry/biotechnology/food science etc..

These days career in clinical research is also very much on demand because of the increasing rate of Govt and private clinical labs and research institutes.

You can pursue M.sc in clinical research from reputed institutes like : CREMA, ICRI etc.

Now it is up to you what way you would like to prefer.

According to your query the best option is to join msc botany after completing your Bsc botany.
if you does not interest in Msc then go for other fields like,

forestry
horticulture
agriculture
sericulture
marine biology
MBA etc

The best course is MSC botany.Msc botany is a master degree.
After completing this course you can go for
R & D

you will prepare ips also.


So its depends upon your interest.

What To Do After B.Sc. Botany

After the completion of your graduation in Botany you can either go for M.Sc. in your stream else of you want to get into the government services then you need to clear the Indian Forest Services conducted by the UPSC every year..

Candidates must have the following minimum eligibility criterion for appearing in this exam :-

1) The candidate must have completed their graduation in Botany,Zoology,Chemical Engineering,etc from a recognized University

2) The candidate must be within the age limit of 21-30 years and has a maximum of 4 attempts for appearing in the exam

The exam is going to be conducted 14th July,2012 and the forms will be available from 31st March,2012

I have also attached some previous year papers of Botany along with this reply so that you can have an idea of the questions that you will face in the exam..

After B.Sc. Botany you can opt for M.Sc. in Botany and chose career in education and research.

You can appear for Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC every year and successfully cracking the exam you can join various Administrative job under Govt. of India specially IFS(Indian Forest Service) as you are a B.Sc. Botany graduate.

The above exam can be given by any graduate from any stream within the age group of 21 to 30 years of age. For more information you may log on to www.upsc.gov.in

Otherwise you may join MBA(Master in Business Administration) for which you have to crack entrance exam like CAT/MAT/XAT etc.

You may opt for LL.B. after B.Sc. and chose a professional line in law.

After completing B.SC better to do higher studies because if you have did B.SC in computer scince or electronics means you can get job in good companies but u did in botany................botany also good in this you can go for teaching field thr you will get good future and you can higher studies...
