Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, Gujarat has issued the notification the MD/ MS entrance exam 2010. It is an entrance test conducted for admission into MD / MS postgraduate medical programme, offered in the upcoming session 2010.

Date of Exam------January 28, 2010
you can get the application form and information brochure available for sale at office of the Gujarat University (Cooperative Store, Behind University Library, Nr School of Languages, University Campus) against a cash payment of Rs 500 (per programme).

Date of issue of Application Form------December 29, 2009

Last Date of submitting Application Form------January 11, 2010

The notification for this course is generally published in the month of june, july and august.

Many other unversity conduct their exam in different date so please check this site.

There are many institutions offering MD in BAMS. Amrita Medical Entrance Exam, Himachal Pradesh BAMS (MD) Entrance Exam, JIPMER, All India Common Entrance Examination (AICEE-AIPVT), All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Examination, All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT) are some of the entrance exam conducted for selecting candidates to MD BAMS.

For your kind information the Government has decided to have a Single Entrance Exam for admission to Post Graduate Medical Seats (approx 11000 numbers) in the Country 2011 onwards.

Now you dont need to sit in minimum 6 to 8 entrance Exams to be sure about your admission.

However, it remains to be seen as to how the Primer Medical Colleges AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER and other Top Institutes go about conduction their admissions to Post Graduate Courses
