Hello,

I am already a Management Post-Graduate. But my academic interest lies in Medical stream.

I am contemplating appearing for MHT-CET for medical course in 2010. What will be the upper-age limit for the CET at that point of time?

Also, is it a viable & correct option for me at this age,
[ I am 26] .

The upper age limit is 25 for MHT-CET exam. I would suggest you for the job. You have already done post graduate in mangement i would suggest you for the job.

The Upper age limit is 25 years for MHT-CET Examination.You have been crossed upper age limit so that in my opinion you should go for any management job only.

The upper age limit for writing MHT-CET is 25 years. hence you are not eligible for it.
As you are already a Management Post-Graduate i'll suggest you to go for a job.

i am sorry to say that you are not able to apply for MHT-CET 2010 because your age is 26.but there have a criteria of applying for this exam ,that is the upper age limit of the exam is 25.

If you are applying for MHT-CET 2010 medical entrance exam then you must not be greater than 25years of age .moreover you must also not be less than 17 years of age as well.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test - MHT CET Eligibility 2010
Eligibility for Admission to Health Science Degree Courses:
1. The candidate must be an Indian National. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Non Resident Indian (NRI)/Overseas citizen of India (OCI) are not eligible.
2. The candidate must be born on or before 31st December 1993 to be eligible to appear for MHT CET 2010. However, for admission to Ayurved and Unani courses, candidate must be born on or before 1st October 1993. The Birth certificate indicating name of the candidate, Secondary School Certificate i.e. SSC or equivalent examination certificate or School Leaving Certificate endorsing the date of birth will constitute a valid proof.


3. The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness at the time of Preference form filling as per proforma.
4. The candidate must have passed the SSC or equivalent examination from an Institution situated in the state of Maharashtra. (Please refer point 6. for exception)
5. The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/12th Standard) or equivalent examination, from an Institution situated in the State of Maharashtra (Please refer 7. & 8. for exception) with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) at the time of admission.

MY AGE IS NOW 21YR THEN I CAN APEAR TO MHT-CET EXAM FOR ENGINEERING?

It would be better 4 u to do job because maximum age limit is 25

since your age is above 25 and as you say that you have completed managment post graduate so its better to keep going in the same track,anyways your not eligible for mhcet friend.

AIIMS
JIPMER

both of them have no upper age limit.
