what is the minimum requirement of % in b.tech{me} in campus selection?

most of the companies ask a minimum of 60% also some companies go for 65%

the minimum cgpa required for any engineering up to 6th semester is 7.0......
nits and iits have this standard .....but in colleges where % is given the minimum % is 65% for placement.....

maximum no. of companies ask 60% in 10 12 and graduation some ask 65 some even dont put criteria for interviews

60% is the minimum percentage for campus selection but it varies with company demands.

There is a common demand of 60% by recruiting companies.

But it does'nt means that students who get less then that are not recruited at that time your Talent plays a vital role.

If you have a 'Talent' then percentage is no bar,try bring your talent into action.

most of the companies demand for minimum of 60% but this criteria varies with companies. some may demand 65% or 68% too.

the minimum is 60% through out from tenth to engineering,thats what the most of the companies ask for ,but these days some companies even allow one or two backlogs

eligibility criteria differs from company to company...but if u have 60& throught (10,12,b.tech.)...u will not have any problem...
generally it is 60% throught...
but if u have talent to crack the interview...%ge ANd degree really dosent matter a lot

I think the minimum % requirement depends on companies to companies but mostly of them demand 60% marks at least. So work hard and all the very best for your carrier.

they also ask for 60% in 10th and 12th class.

but it totally depends upon the companies,about the cut -off marks for eligibility .

some of them keeps 65% and some even keep it to 75%.

if you score above 70% there are nil chances of rejection due to less percentage....overall, first divison should be least you should do to take a shot in campus placement

For Btech campus selection the minimum percentage required is 60%.......

minimum percentage depends on the company .. infosys reqires 68% this year .. if you have 75% you will be in the safer side

the minimum percentage require for btech campus selection is 60% but if you want to get job in a good company then you have to score more than 80% otherwise it will be hard for you to get into a good company.

your final ygpa till you appear for campusing should be 6.75 this is enough or in percentage 60%,.............

i think now these days actually desired 60 to 65 above...it is better to gain 70 % to cse and it because of compitition

10th and +2 you have 65% ,without year gap
and btech your cgpa or ygpa is approx 65% (7.222) approx
its ideal ...
most of the companies require less than this marks
its depends company standard and salary

some companies want the 60% or above in 10th,12th and in b.tech.....
and also some companies ask for 55% or above....
and all the companies ask if u have year gap...then you should give them a good reason for it..

it depends upon the company......for which you are giving the placement exam.
for some of the company the minimum marks through out the carrier must be at least 60%,
but for some other company it is below 60%,

the Minimum percentage requirement in btech for campus selection is 6.0....but if you want to get placed in some good industry like tata,infosis,etc you have to score more than 8.0............so work hard for this...

i have scored 73% agreegate yet, but got reappear in one subject which i will clear in next sem . i am in 4th sem now does reappear affects placements.

this companies generally look for just YGPA marks and percentage.

Different companies have different cut off percentages.
Still a minimum percentage of 60 is required to sit for any company's written exam.

You have to score atleast 60% in B.tech.and if score 75% in B.tech then this take you forward from many people because in many government company they ask for above 70%.

hai everyone i got 54% in my btech and 85% in 10th,85% in inter as well. as such i used to dream abt masters i took btech as too lite i had been to australia but bcoz of racism i had to come back now am lookin to bulid a career but its becomin too tough for me to do that any suggestions.... ty n at presently am goin for training as a ORACLE DBA

min. percentage you could maintain for the placement should be 65% so that you can be elligible for every company

some core companies also demand 55% whereas some companies like IBM ,Microsoft demand above 70%.

Well if you want to select in campus selection your 10th and Inter percentage should me minimum 65% and your btech percentage should be 60%. But we can't say that 60% in your btech doesn't ensure you to be an eligible candidate to apply for the campus interviews. It will be depend up on the company that is conducting that campus interviews. If you consider any class -a companies like Microsoft, IBM, Google, Yahoo and etc., they will ask a minimum of 70-75% minimum for a candidate to apply for interview. So it will purely depend up on the company that is conducting interview. So my suggestion is it is better if you maintain 75% in your btech you will be in a safe zone. But 75% will not help you to get a job in a company. It will be decided on your performance in the series of tests conducted by the company. So be prepare from now on wards. All the best for your future.

Dear this depends from company to company.IF it is a reputed company then minimum of 70% marks is required in your B.tech.
And for all other companies there is minimum requirement of 60%.
So try to get 70% and above so as to look for reputed companies.

But, if you have secured 60% marks in PCM, then you are also eligible for Campus selection. Because in now a days, for appear in comapny selection
you have to get more than 60% marks............

80% IS CUTOFF FOR INFOSYS THIS IS UNDER JNTU AP REGION

hi dude,,,,,try to secure atleast 65 percent in b-tech without backlogs at all,do a project which is mindblowing in your fourth sem....top companies will be in queue to recruit you.....
dont keep backlogs,backlogs........you will not be recruited at least in small companies,if you hav backlogs

it is some what difficult to attend the campus interview.But improve your talent and try to get seat in a better company.In btech u didn't neglect ur subjects try to work hard and strive to get the good marks.
