i have completed B.E ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGG in hyderabad educational and research centre,can i apply for boiler operation engineer exam

Boiler OperationEngineer (BOE) can be done in institutes and colleges. This course can be studied as full time or part time course. To study BOE the candidate should clear an entrance exam to get admission in various colleges. The entrance exam for BOE is conducted twice every year by the directorate of BOE. The full details about the eligibility requirements are given below.

Eligibility criteria:
- The candidate should complete their graduation/ diploma level degree in mechanical/ electrical/ chemical/ power plant/ production/ instrumentation engineering.
- Experience in related field for 1-5 years.
- The age limit should not be more than 23 years.

You need to apply for the exam by filling the application form and pay the fees 1500. The fee structure may vary based on the reservation category.

For BOE (Boiler Operating Engineer) both Diploma as well as Candidate with B.TECH can apply.

>> Both diploma and degree candidates are allowed to apply who have done course in Mechanical engineering,Chemical engineering,Instrumentation engineering,Electrical engineering,Power plant engineering.

>> For diploma candidate minimum experience required in respected field is 5 years and for B.TECH candidate minimum experience required is of 2 years.

>> To apply for Boiler operating course candidate age should not more then 23 years.

>> The application procedure for entrance exam is different in different states in some states written exam is carried out and in some only oral viva voce is take.Candidate selection depends upon the performance you have done in entrance exam.

The minimum educational qualification required to become a Boiler Operating Engineer in India is a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. This diploma program should be recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or the State Board of Technical Education.

In addition to the educational qualification, the Boiler Operation Engineers' eligibility criteria also require candidates to possess a certificate of proficiency as a Boiler Operation Engineer, issued by the Directorate of Boilers in their respective states.
