there are 6 colleges in punjab that are under punjab university,chandigarh.

one of them is the regional center of the university.

the main and the top most college is PEC(punjab engineering college),chandigarh.

the minimun all india rank should be range from 1-7000 to take take the admission into NIT and IIT and top most colleges.

To give the AIEEE you need to have minimum 50% of marks at 10+2 level and also 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together.

Physics and mathematics should be your compulsory subjects at 10+2 level. The same is the eligibility criteria for the students wanting to pursue B.Arch. Mathematics should be their main subject at 10+2 level.

AIEEE Exam Pattern:

There are two papers. Paper 1 consists of three sections: Physics, chemistry and mathematics and equal importance is given to all the three mentioned subjects. Generally MCQ type questions comes and there is a negative marking scheme.
Paper 2 consists of three sections as well namely, mathematics, drawing and aptitude. Mathematics and drawing have MCQ type questions while the aptitude questions are drawing based.

The duration of both the papers is three hours. Paper I is for the BE/B.Tech students and Paper II for the B.Arch students.

It is tough to say really what marks should be secured to get the top colleges. But here i have mentioned the cut off marks based on which you get a rank. This might give you a rough idea.
