i have cleared my ugc jrf and net held on 28 june 2009.in certificates my father name is written vijay komar instead of vijay kumar.what should i do now? i have completed my m.phil and pursuing my ph.d from h.p.u shimla.

In my opinion there is nothing to worry about this issue.

As long as you are pursuing your Doctoral programme in efficient manner, without any failure, there is no chances of cancellation of award.

There is nothing wrong and you can carry on with that small spelling mistake in your certificate.

Look dear there is nothing to worry about ,because with that small mistake no one is going to take that seriously because in many cases if seen due to spell mistake nothing happened till now like voter id ,driving licence and many more where spell mistake is hardly been taken care of ,so don't worry nothing is going to happen here in this award case be smooth in your path and achieve your success.

I think its very big issue, if in your certificate there is spelling mistake, then you should immediately contact to concerned authority. Because it will create problem in future.

So, i will suggest you, just immediatey contact to concerned department. I hope they
will definately help you and provide you a good suggestion.

try to check the mail order as because this mistake should not have happened.
go in person to complain in the same office.

i have cleared my ugc jrf and net held on 27 june 2010.when i will get my clearence certificate.still now i could not get any receipt at from ugc.i am patiently waiting for the certificate. can i send my certicates to the net bureau before getting my receipt.whether there is any time limit to get the certificate.

i have not received the cirtificate of net examination on clearing june 2010 examination. i would like to know whether i should sent my masters degree certificate to the ugc as i was only appearing for the masters exams on the date of NET.

I have already joined in Ph.D and acquired my fellowship through canara bank. My subject is Electronics Science, which belongs to Science stream as per UGC rule. But UGC has uploaded my stream as Humanities and Social Science in canara bank website. As per bank authority, they are unable to correct or replace this because it has been already fixed from UGC. As a result i have got contingency in the pay scale of Humanities and Social Science. what can i do to rectify this? please can anyone help me?
