No, there is no any fixed cut off for the admission in the NIT every year on the board or the Mains score.
Yes, the admission in the NIT is on the basis of the marks in the JEE Mains and the board aggregate but it is not fixed. There is different cut off for the different category candidates in the JEE Mains every year. So, to get admission in the NIT you have to qualify in the NIT and must have good aggregate in the board examination to get the admission in the stream and the NIT of your choice. Rank --- 60% of Mains Score+ 40% of the board aggregate. |
