i am studying M.SC computer science first year.i want to apply for ISRO exam 2011? am i eligible for that exam? what is syllabus for that exam?

Yes, you are eligible the minimum eligibility criteria for ISRO is B.E/B.Tech so you have already done that...

Isro Exam test Pattern:

ISRO didnt announce any syllabus details for the year 2011.

The Isro test patteren for 2010 exam,as stated by some students who have taken this exam previous year.

Total No. of question:80
Total time:90 mins
Marking system:+3 for corerct answer, -1 for wrong answer

The exam has only one section,one shift and the question paper will be branch specific.

Only B.E./B.Tech. qualified candidates of Electronics/Computer Science/Mechanical

Engineering are eligible to apply for this exam.

According to me only B.Tech/B.E students are eligible for ISRO enrtance exam.

M.Sc students are not allowed for ISRO entrance exam.

Necessary eligibility condition for ISRO exam is that you should have min. 65% aggregate after the compition of graduation.

Hello Dear,

According to my knowledge M.Sc. Computer Science students are not eligible

for ISRO exam because isro requires a graduate engineers in any stream with

65 % aggregate marks from a regonised institute / university.

In ISRO, if there is any special recruitment then ISRO called M.Sc. Computer Science students.

Is a MSc Computer Science student eligible for ISRO exam?

For Scientist And Engineers Exams, I think You Are Not Eligible.

Because to Appear in ISRO Scientist And Engineers Exams, The Candidate Must Have A BE Or B.Tech Degree With a Minimum 65% Marks.

So, You Are Not Eligible to Apply for ISRO Exams because Only Those Candidates Are Eligible For Annual Recruitment of Scientists/Engineers Who Have A BE, B.TECH OR Equivalent Degree in Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science.

And The Written test will be Conducted on 16th April 2011.

The Application for On-line Registration Will be Hosted in the ISRO Web-Site Between 08/Feb/2011 and 28/Feb/2011.

And Last Date for Online Application Submission for ISRO Exam 2011 Is On 28-02-2011.

No, You can't apply for ISRO exam for scientist and engineers as min. qualification is BE/B.Tech. degree or equivalent.

No, Msc students can not apply for any posts in ISRO.

the educational qualification in ISRO is a graduate in B.E or B.tech in fields like Mechanical, Electronics, and Computer science with a Minimum of 65% in aggregate.

students who are about to qualify their B.E or B.tech degree can also apply if they can show their certificate by 31st August, 2011.

Your age limit should not cross 35 years as on 28th February,2011.

So you are not eligible.

Yeah you are perfectly eligible for that

right from your BE 3rd year only you are eligible for all types of Internship programs by all the companies and organisations

ISRO is also not exception for this

even though there is specific exam for the intake for the same

they highly depend on the merit of the student than the degrees completed by the candidate

so you should understand one thing clearly that you have to be a good knowledgable person in your subject regard

And the general steps you have to remember to reach your desired goal is ..

->you have to complete your b.tech with good percentage i.e., 65% atleast (preferably 75-80%)

->Go for Coaching if you're financial position is strong(Not Cumpulsary) so that not only you get coaching you can be exposed to many factors like difficulty level of question,national wide competition for the same exam..and so on it will be good if you do so..

->As usual after getting well groomed with the coaching you can confidently attempt the exam..

->Then after that you have to give good performance in the interview too.
