M.Sc or M.Tech candidate are eligible for Assistant prfessor in engineering college.before some year ago it was not necessary that only M.Tech candidate is eligible for Professor in engineering college, but in these year it is necessary that M.Tech degree is necessary for Assistent professor in enginneering college.

With M.Tech degree you are eligible for Assistant Professot in Engineering college.

Best of luck.

Yes you are eligible for applying for the teaching profession vacancy available in various colleges for which minimum qualification required is Masters in engineering.

Recruiting process differs from institution to institution. Mostly it involves the written exam followed by teaching some topics to the students or committee of members whose opinion determines your job into the university or college.

You can not be directly admitted as Assistant professor. You need to have experience in the field in addition to the doctorate in philosophy. So a long way to reach that position.

Initially you will be joining as a Trained followed by which you need to work as a lecture which is also referred to as associate professor .

Doing the Doctorate along with your job experience you will be promoted to the higher position based on your performance in the interview conducted by panel of members who constitute the faculty training committee

Best of Luck

No,Because minimum qualification for assistent professor is M.Sc with atleast 55% + UGC NET for General candidates. If you are SC,then there is 5% relaxation of Marks in M.Sc that is M.Sc with 50% + UGC NET.
