my gate score is really very bad. but i want to do m.tech ...is there any procedure to get admission in good college without gate score???

please dont get upset of your gate score,you can get the admission in many of the colleges if you have appear for the gate exam and your marks is above cutt of marks which is 25 marks ,

yes there are many college who takes the admission in m.tech only on the basis that you have appeared in the gate exam,

IIITs : These institutes are deemed universities and conduct there own test for M.Tech admission test. For detail about admission procedure visit inspire ‘n’ ignite’.
Central Universities: These universities are supported by central government and have great infra structure and good faculty. Read more about then and admission procedure here.
Deemed Universities: In recent years many good deemed universities have come with great infrastructure and industry interface. Read more about them here.
State Universities: Few good universities in different states conduct their own test and follow admission procedure. Check the list here.
M.Tech part time and from Open University: This is a last option for me but it solely depends on your situation and job requirement. Read this for more information on M.Tech Correspondence . I will be adding a list of part time M.Tech programs with requirements

try for the next year for gate.

some colleges conduct exam and/or interveiw for non gate candidates (to fill the remaining seats of M.Tech)

bt my sugestion is Better join as a GATE candidate. coz u cant get STIPHEND if u r a NON GATE candidate. and most colleges dont maintain seats for NON gate Candidates. its almost impossible for u to get seat in good colleges like NITs and IITs.

but the fees in these colleges is really very high and you have to be economically strong to join these colleges

don,t worry there are too many private colleges which give admission on the basis of low gate score or even without gate score. you can apply in such colleges. you will surely get admission in m.tech

metch in good college without gate is little bit difficult so try to write gate exam or try to write the entrance exam conducted by some deemed universities

as u have mentioned that u have very poor GATE score so u will not be able to get admission in good m.tech colleges.

but still there is a chance for u.

each college takes a special exam for admission into m.tech for non-GATE students.u can apply for that exam.

yes you can be apply for only one university in india to get directly admission in m.tech with out any entrance exam.....

You can get admission evenif you scored bad in GATE examination, the possibillity which is left only related to the value of the college in which you will be getting admission.
First thing is that , never leave hope for NIT, because in lateral stages even non-GATE candidates do get admission to fill vacant seats. Although they are not eligible for any scholorships though NITs are not a bad option .
After that you may try in other govt. college residing in your local state. They also provide admission to non-GATE candidates.
Then you may try for private colleges , although they would charge you high fee, but your candidature in MTech will be secured.

There are only two ways to enter in M.Tech.
1. either through GATE .
2. or sending through your companies like GAIL,BHEL,SAIL etc.

As you have no any job experience & want to join M.Tech but without GATE score.

Then it is not sure that you will get good college but you can get average college.

The only one thing you can do, you can take admission in any private college under the management/NRI quotas.
Private college reserve some seats for such quotas, so you have some chance.

I am attempting GATE-2011. But Even i score in it, the score is valid only for IIT colleges in India. I want to know if there is any exam to pass through so that i can study in normal colleges which are affliated by J.N.T.U.....
IS there any common entrance test??
