Eligibility criteria
To get admission into M.Tech in Robotics Engineering offered at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, one should obtain B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Control/ Mechanical/ CSE/IT branch with minimum of 60% marks. Also, they should have obtained minimum of 60% marks at matriculation and intermediate level.
Those who possess B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc degree in relevant engineering stream can pursue their M.Tech (Robotics Engineering) in University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. MCA graduates can also apply for this M.Tech course offered at this institute. B.E or B.Tech degree is the minimum educational qualification required to join other colleges to pursue this M.Tech course.
Admission Procedure
Most of the colleges give admission to M.Tech in Robotics Engineering course on the basis of score obtained in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Institutes like University of Petroleum and Energy Studies and Indian Institute of Information Technology will first short list the applications for M.Tech in Robotics Engineering course according to the GATE score. In the case of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, interview will be conducted for the short listed candidates and admission will be given on the basis of their performance in the interview.
Indian Institute of Information Technology will conduct written test, lab test and interview for the short listed candidates and admission will be given on the basis of score obtained in these three selection rounds. SRM University will conduct an entrance test for Non-GATE qualified candidates and interview for GATE qualified candidates. In this case, admission will be based on the entrance test score or performance in interview.

sir ,if I get good ranking in gate . still 60% in intermediate is necessary for mtech admission .
if someone didn’t get 60% in intermediate then they can’t get admission in m.tech
