Re: Mtech and MS ,which is better and what are the fields of specification??
In my opinion, both are equivalent.Though mtech in india is competitive to get an admission whereas MS from abroad is much more easier to secure as well as quality of education is also much superior.U'll have to qualify GRE/TOEFL depending on your choice of country. On the contrary, for mtech GATE is the pathway.Anything above 95 percentile is good. For your interests NIT warangal,IIT madras,DTU,IIT bombay, etc. are the right institutes and for abroad you can have a look at TIMES univ ranking.Hope you'll be satisfied.Good Luck.

Re: Mtech and MS ,which is better and what are the fields of specification??
hey,
M.Tech is a type of regular course where you sit in a classroom and listen to the lectures. You get one project to do which you should do under the guidance of a professor. M.S is completely different as you get to interact with the professor more and there will be less of classroom classes. More time for the research activities thus can do your project better. so you choose what you want... MS is always preferred over M.Tech best of luck...@@ |

the ms degree definitely gives better exposure but seeing the situation in foreign markets its better to go for m.tech in India which is more reliable to get you a job in current situation.

both is very good one.. but i will suggest you for the embedded system because in the modern time most of the electronics is opting this system, also this system is very efficient for work, also there is better job option in this field than the analog circuit. |

Dear friend Both the courses are better and both the courses have its own importance. So, choose according to your choice. So, if you are interested to do M.tech, then you have to appear in GATE examination which is conducted by IIT. So, if you has scored goos marks in GATE exams, then you will get admission in IIT's and NIT's college. But, if you are interested to study in abroad, then MS is best and to get admission in MS you have to appear the GRE-TOFEL examination. After clear this exams, you will get admission in MS and after MS you will get a job as a software engineer. So, please choose field according to your interest....... Good luck. |

Re: Mtech and MS ,which is better and what are the fields of specification??
In my point of you , m.tech is better. The colleges are not taking the m.s student for lecturer post. So if you gonna do phd take m.s.... Its easy to do phd. Or going to do job choose m.tech.
Good luck!! |

Re: Mtech and MS ,which is better and what are the fields of specification??
Hello,
I think MS should be more preferred as it gives good exposure & more importantly it offers good placement. MS has more detailed knowledge for directing to Ph.D. As far as foreign market is concerned it has also impact on placement to M.Tech students. M. Tech is considered to be more theory oriented & MS is more considered to be research oriented. |
