i want to know that my application of iit has been accepted or not

you can now track your application form from the tab in the official website ......www.jee.iitb.ac.in
there is a note for checking the status of the application form

you can know your application status through two sms servers:

1.9434709991
2.9434709992

send your application form number to anyone of these numbers you will get your form status.

note- you have to send only your application form no. leave the first charecter 'A' send only your form number as a text message.

when i check my application form status,it says “Scrutiny of Application Number A371000226 has been completed” but for all my other friends it says “HARD copy of Application Number A371000228 has been received and under scrutiny”.now what does it mean?? i have send hard copy of my application

i have already checked that but receival of my form is not my
question.actually my father had forgotten to put his sign on my form
and later a call came to my home in which they requested to put my
father's sign on a blank page and to post it.i have done that but
still when i check my application status it stays the same as before
sending my father's sign and that is "Scrutiny of Application Number
A371000226 has been completed". now my question is whether my
application is accepted or not although it had reached their office.

It will not accepted until your fathers signature in the blank page reached the authority.

Check weather your father's signature reached the destination or not,or send a another copy.

You can also trace the path and weather your application reached the IIT or not,just by entering the date and 'SP' code of your speed post,which is given in the reciept of India post which is recieved by you after posting the form.

1)click to open the official website of IIT-JEE-2010:

2)now just click on the tab which is on the right side of the screen ---'Status of receipt of Application'

3)fill in your application form number and then click on the go button to find out the current status.

you can either check your application form status on their website or call to the regional office where you have sent your form and ask for the status or you can call-02225767062 and follow the instructions

you can check your status online by going to your zonal iit website and writing your application number to the space provided to check application status

there is often a problem with reaching of acknowledgement card however if this fails to reach to you than also you need not worry because i had faced similar problems but finally got my admit card right. so see in your prospectus the website to contact for such problems.

Then please visit the official site of IIT and submited your application number and then you will get the detail, whether your from is delivered or not.

2.click on the application status on right side of the window.
3.put your application number
if they have not recieved then this msg will get displayed

Those who have applied for IITJEE 2011 and have sent their forms can check the status of their application form.

There are two methods for checking the application form status. The first one is to get details in the links given in the IIT JEE website for this purpose and the next is through speed post facility of India.

To know your application status visit the JEE website of the zonal IIT to which you have sent the hard copy & enter the details

In second option, you click on http://service.ptcmysore.govin/speednettracking/. On getting linked to this website, you need to enter speed post article number and booking date. This will give you all detailed information relevant to the article number

You can check your application status at your zonal IIT website.
Under the page go to JEE-2011 link and you will get the Application link to check the status.
It will take around 10-12 days to update the status.
