Do I Have to attend Engineering Entrance Examination in order to do B.Arch ?

There are several modes for b.arch courses in India.

You can do B.arch by cracking following entrance :-

NATA
AIEEE
IIT-JEE followed by an amptitude test.
WBJEE followed by valid NATA scores.
MH-CET.

you can apply for aieee for which you just have to pay some more and you an write the exam.......generally if you go for direct entry in some private institute then you will have to appear for a aptitude test for archi....then you will be eligible for getting admission in the institute.........

Yes of course you have to do entrance exams in order to do b.arch and the admission procedure depends on the university.

yes for doing B.ARCH you have to appear in engineering entrance exam and score atleast that minimum marks to get your choice of field.

IF you are appearing for AIEEE for B.arch then you dont have to appear for NATA.

yes you have to sit for entrance exam to do B.Arch..
but this is a common test for B.Arch only....
but you can sit for AIEEE also....
NATA 2010 Exams will commence at the notified Test Centers from 1st March 2010.

sir,is aieee optional or will NATA alone help to do B.arch??....r the syllabus same as 2nd pu for NATA??...

If you do not want to give the NATA exam for the B.Arch courses then you can go for the AIEEE or for te IIT-JEEE or also you can go for the WB-JEEE.

hi for getting into B.Arch entrance exam is necessary .college you will be based upon your marks in entrance you can attend exam like
AIEEE
NATA

Or else you can get into course by means of management in few deemed universities and also in other few colleges

no it is not a compulsion it is only a optional .There is certain seats which are reserved for NATA exam . if you write this exam you have more seats than adopting without this.there are may exams through which also you can get.

NATA is mainly for doing the B.arch course . other engineering exams are aieee,jee,and other exams conducted by state government

i hav 90 marks in nata and 87% in i2th exam can i get admission in NIT CALICUT
