i wanna knw about the new entrance exam for space engineering .....
wat r the exams to be given after 12th to get admission in space engeneering field...????

the Indian institute of space science and technology is conducting ISAT-2010 on April 17th 2010

likewise IIT;S IIST,Thiruwannathpurum (which is run by isro) is also conducting entrance for addmission to its various space engineering(aerospace and avionics) courses

the test will be conduct in third weeken of april 2010.
the entrance will be based on class 11+12 syllabus of cbse.

Admission to the B.Tech programmes in Aerospace engineering, Avionics and Physical sciences in IIST, Thiruvananthapuram is through the IIST admission test .
The test consists of two question papers of objective type, each of two hours duration having questions from physics, chemistry and mathematics.

the general eligibility are :-
you must have at least 70% in all subjects combined in 10th standard.
you must have at least 70% in aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) papers in 12th exam....

you should submit the application online through IIST website www.iist.ac.in/IIST/ISAT 2010/ or alternate website www.isac.gov.in/iist/

IIST is the new entrance exams, which is conducted by ISRO in 2010.
this test is conducted in this month i.e. 17 th april 2010.

The following programs are available in IIST, Thiruvananthapuram.

Aerospace Engineering- Aerospace, Mechanical design, Manufacturing.

Avionics- Electronics, Communication, Control.

Physical sciences- Astronomy, Earth science, Remote sensing, Chemical system

to join in iit for mtech you have to appear for gate exam,
and to get admission in iit you gate score should be at least 600 for an general student,

the syllabus would be same as the iitjee exam,and you can see it in the examination brochure,
as this exam is being conducted for the first time no one really knows what the cut off and the qualifying score is going to be, it will be only clear after the results are announced,

Its called ISAT which was conducted first time this year in 2010. But there are only few 153 seats available all over india.

Exam is already over but you may appear for next year ISAT 2011.

IIST is the entrance exam which is conducted by ISRO for the first time this year..the exam held on the third weekend of april..May be you can try for the next year...

new exam that is now first time conducted in 2010 is called as ISAT and it is alredy over for this year on 17th april
so go for it better luck next year

yes there is new exam is organized by the isro from the year 2010. and it will be known as the ISAT,and after getting section in this exam you can join the isro,so prepare for the eams,

isat 2010 is the new exam started by iist and it was held on 17 april 2010. This exam is only for getting admission iist.
