Profile:

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was established on August 15, 1969 by the Government of India. It is one of the leading space research organizations in the world. The headquarter of the organisation is located at Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Scientist/Engineer in Indian Space Research Organisation depending on their educational qualification.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than 35 years of age as on 20 October 2010. Relaxation in age is available for the reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification:

M.E. or M.Tech or equivalent with atleast 65% marks in aggregate is required for applying for the post of Scientist/Engineer in Indian Space Research Organisation.

No. of posts: Only 21 posts are available in total for the position.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Selection Process:

The final selection of the candidates on the post of Scientist/Engineer in Indian Space Research Organisation will be made strictly on the basis of their performance in the personal interview test.

How to apply: An application fee of Rs. 100 (No fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates) is need to be paid by the candidates. Application must be made online only at ISRO website. Printout of the application form should be kept by the candidates for future reference.
