I Uma S Patil, completed M.sc clinical psychology. Now i am applying for M.phil in clinical psychology at NIMHANS 2015. So I need syllabus for the same. Will you provide the syllabus sir i will be thankful to You.

You can apply for M.Phil admission in NIMHANS through the entrance exam if you have got Master's Degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category like SC/ST and Physically handicapped.

Those who have qualified exams like NET/SLET with Master's degree can apply for admission in Ph.D program rather than going for M.Phil program. If you don't have NET/SLET score then M.Phil is a good option only when you are not getting admission in a Ph.D program.

M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology is a 2 years full time course. Those candidates who have completed their MA/M.Sc. in Psychology/Counseling Psychology/Psychological Counseling/Applied
Psychology /Clinical Psychology from a recognized university can apply.

M.Phil Clinical Psychology Pattern:

-It is single Paper.
-The Entrance exam is based on objective question with Multiple choice answer.
-The question will be asked from Graduate level and Master degree level.
-No negative marking syllabus in this entrance exam.

M.Phil Clinical Psychology Syllabus:

-Medicine and Cognitive Behavior therapy
-Child and Adolescent Mental Health
-Psycho diagnostic Assessment
-Counseling and psychotherapy
-Family and Martial therapies
-Behavior
-Management of Substance Abuse
-Psycho social Rehabilitation & Psychopathology
