Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) offer M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with

specialization in Instrumentation & Control and Power System & Drives.

The total seats sanctioned for M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering is 34 (Thirty Four).

To be eligible for admission you must have completed B.Tech. (or equivalent examination)
in the relevant branch of study with not less than 60% marks in aggregate or
equivalent GPA/CPI/CGPA.

The final eligibility for entrance test in college is decided by candidates' performance
in GATE.

You will have to qualify GATE with valid score and then you can apply for admission
in M.Tech. at AMU.

Admission Procedure

Admission/selection procedure for M.Tech in AMU is mentioned below :

• Minimum qualification - B.Tech or equivalent with aggregate of at least 60% marks or equivalent CPI/CGPA.
• Final list of candidates will be made on the basis of both Gate score and departmental admission test score.
• In case of a candidate not qualifying Gate or not holding a Gate score, he/she may be selected on the basis of only departmental admission test score if there are vacancies.
• Remember you have to submit application form for admission within the scheduled date. Details regarding this will be available on the official website of AMU.
