How many seats are available for class 11th in Science as well as Commerce in Alighar Muslim University? How to apply for them? Is there any reservation for any group of people?

For admission in Class XI of Aligarh Muslim University, you will have to qualify entrance exam.

Following number of seats are available for Boys

• Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics - 360 seats
• Physics, Chemistry, Biology - 240 seats

Following number of seats are available for Girls

• Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics - 60 seats
• Physics, Chemistry, Biology - 240 seats
• Physics, Chemistry, Home Science - 10 seats
• Biology, Chemistry, Home Science - 10 seats

You will have to submit application form for entrance exam online through AMU official site.

Aligarh Muslim University conducts an entrance exam for the admission to class 11 (Boys/Girls) in Arts/Science/Commerce stream. Admission to class 11th based on admission test to be conducted during last week of May.

The following combinations are available for SSC Boys :

- Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics with 360 seats and

- Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 240 seats.

- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60 seats

- Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 240 seats

- Physics, Chemistry and Home Science with 10 seats

- Biology, Chemistry and Home Science with 10 seats.

The eligibility criteria for an applicant to be eligible for the class 11 admission is pass in 10th with not less than 45% marks in aggregate of English, Science and Mathematics taken together.

For Commerce stream the seats distribution are as follows:

For SSC Boys - Commerce with 180 seats

For SSC Girls - Commerce with 60 seats.

The eligibility criteria for an applicant to be eligible for the class 11 admission is pass in 10th with not less than 45% marks in aggregate of English and Mathematics especially.
