For getting admission in colleges for MBBS course, you should have 10+2 passed certificate in Science stream with 50% marks to let you appear for the entrance examination and according to the merit list you will be given admission

Every college have different different fee structure but GOVT college have less fee as compare to the private college.

Now the medical council of India released the syllabus of the common Entrance Test for MBBS and MD admission 2012. The common Entrance Test will be scheduled in may 2012.

Eligibility:

Candidates for admission to the first year MBBS Degree course should have passed the H.Sc. (Academic) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC) in the subjects – Biology (Botany/Zoology) / Bio-Technology , Physics and Chemistry. Candidate must have taken English as a core subject.

Cost of Application

Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) for application in person by cash (or) DD. for Rs.1050/- (Rupees One Thousand and Fifty only)



AFMC conducts a national level entrance exam for students who want to get admission to Armed Forces Medical College Pune. AFMC is the first medical institute set up by the Armed Forces of any country in Asia.After completion of MBBS course from AFMC, students can work at least for 7 years in armed forces.

Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune, MBBS Entrance examination will be conducted on 06 May, 2012 for entry into MBBS course commencing from 01 Aug 2012. 130 candidates (including maximum of 25 girls) will be selected for admission.Candidates will have to login to the website of AFMC www.afmc.nic.in and click on the link AFMC MBBSEntrance Examination 2012 which will lead to the webpage containing the application process. Candidates should read the instructions/guidelines contained in the webpage carefully before applying.The last date for downloading and submission of application ONLINE will be 05 March 2012. However in case of candidates who have downloaded the forms by 05 March 2012 and sent by post, the last date of receipt of the same at AFMC Pune will be 12 Mar 2012 (1700 h). Forms shall not be accepted after the last date of receipt.

For fees every institute of different fee structure. Some fees structure are given below....

AIIMS: The premier and probably the cheapest institute in India, you would just have to shell around Rs. 970 per annum as an outstation candidate and Rs. 330 as a local candidate per semester to study in AIIMS. All the expenses are paid by the government of India, and hence the students need not worry about supporting their education. The amount includes Registration fee, hostel fees, electricity fee, gymkhana membership, and mess security.

AFMC: The AFMC doesn’t charge any fee from its students, and provides other privileges and subsidies as well to its students.

Private Medical Colleges: Studying MBBS in Private Engineering Colleges can be a very expensive job indeed. With an average fee of Rs. 1 lakh per semester, medical education is one of the most expensive in the country, as far as private colleges and universities are concerned. Further the hostel charges and examination fees are payable extra.
