Is there separate passing in theory & practicals for 12th board 2016? Kindly let me know the details of passing in 12th Science 2016....

To pass in a subjects consisting of two papers called as theory paper and practical paper you need to pass in the both papers separately.

Generally the passing percentage for different boards are not same but I am providing you the details about two of the Central boards of education which are as :-

For CBSE ; One needs to secure 12 marks out of 30 marks to pass in practical paper where as for the theory paper one needs to secure 23 marks out of 70 marks.

For ICSE ; One needs overall of 40 marks to pass. Here no separate passing marks are required.

For most of the state boards the passing marks in a subject is 30 marks out of 100 marks.

Also the passing marks of a subjects which is of 100 marks you need to secure 33 marks which is 40 marks in the case of ICSE board.

For exact details about the academics of your respective boards you must visit the official link of your board of education.

As, you have not mentioned about the board from which you are pursuing the 12th it is some how tough to give you the exact details of the theory and practical marks.

So I am giving you the information about the CBSE examination pattern. Yes, there is separate passing marks in the CBSE for the practical and the theory examination. In the CBSE board each of the paper is of 100 marks.

The 100 marks are divided in the two parts in the subject which includes the practical also in the 70 and 30. 70 for the theory paper and 30 for the practical. Candidates must have to score 23 out of 70 in the practical and 10 out of the 30. So the overall minimum marks to qualify in the theory and practical is 33 out of 100.

* No there is no seperate way
-> They will combined both theory and practical marks to your overall marks.
-> Actually You no need to bother about practicals because if you allot 3000/- fare to the management they will pass you . This is the process going in every college .

There are basically five subjects in Central Board of Secondary Education 10+2 board examinations. One may opt for some other optional subjects also.

Mathematics or biology.

Physics.

Chemistry.

English.

Any optional subject of own choice.

Theory examination is held for each subject but practical examination is held for Physics, Chemistry and Biology only.

For Physics, Chemistry and Biology, out of 70 marks, a candidate needs to score 23 marks to pass in these papers and in practical exam, out of 30 marks, one needs to score 33% which means 10. A candidate needs to score overall 33% to pass the exam.

Similarly in mathematics or english, you need to score 33% marks.

In 12th you need to pass in both theory and practicals in any board. If you are declared failed in any one of them then you have to appear for it again.

Normally, you need 33% marks to be declared as pass. Hence, try to score above this level if you want to pass 12th science board exams in 2016.

please suggest whether any guides is needed to be refered apart from NCERT test books for all the subjects for 12 th boards 2016

You shall obtain atleast 33% marks in all the subjects.

You must obtain 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in practicals separately in order to qualify that subject.

Its not difficult if you are good at concepts and moreover faculty will help at that time if you are unable to do it .So , no need to worry like pass/fail prepare with dedication and attempt the exam with zeal .
