Pattern of JPSC Commercial Taxes Limited exam

JPSC stands for Jharkhand Public Service Commission and JPSC exam is conducted by state government of Jharkhand to recruit eligible candidates for various government posts. Here below are details regarding JPSC exam:-
  • To apply for JPSC exam applicant must have done graduation or equivalent qualification from government recognized institute.
  • Only Indian citizen are allowed to apply for JPSC exam.
  • Age limit to apply for JPSC exam is 35 years, Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST category candidates, Relaxation of 3 years for unreserved category female candidates.

Exam Pattern for JPSC (Jharkhand Public Service Commission):- Exam pattern for JPSC includes three major steps and are as follows:-

Preliminary Exam:-Preliminary exam consists of two papers which carries MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions).

Paper I:- Paper I is based on general studies and consists of objective type questions and duration of exam is 2 hours.

Paper II:- Paper II is based on general aptitude and carries objective type questions and duration of exam is 2 hours.

Main Exam:- Applicant who have cleared preliminary exam can appear in JPSC main exam which consists of 6 papers and carries 500 marks.

Paper I :- Based on subjects like general Hindi and general English and carries 100 marks.

Paper II:- Based on subjects like language and literature and carries 150 marks.

Paper III:- Based on subjects like social science subject and carries 200 marks.

Paper IV:- Based on subjects like Indian constitution and polity, Public administration and good governance and carries 200 marks.

Paper V:-Based on subjects like Indian economics, Globalization and sustainable development and carries 200 marks.

Paper VI:- Based on subjects like general science and environment and technology development and carries 200 marks.

Personality Test:- After applicant have passed main exam called for personality test which carries 200 marks.
