Re: Percentage we need in 10th to get admission in Polytechnic?
hi dear,
If you got very good marks in 10th class like 80% then you can get good reputed college. If you get average marks like 65% in 10th class then you can get average college. For admission in polytechnic colleges in punjab you need to go through the JET test conducted by the state education board. Good Luck |

Re: Percentage we need in 10th to get admission in Polytechnic?
You should be 10th passed from a recognised Board of Education to become eligible for Polytechnic courses.
Some may ask for 50% marks in 10th class. So get good marks in 10th class so that you don not face any percentage issue for the entrance. For Diploma Engineering courses you should be 10th pass but there are some courses for which 12th may be required like D.Pharm. So if you are interested in Engineering Diploma then only 10th class is needed for admission. Just apply for the entrance exam and get a good rank in it so that you can a good college after counselling. Every State has their own Polytechnic entrance examination and you can apply for any of the state's entrance in which you are interested to take admission. The top Polytechnics of India are mentioned below: -Ghousia Polytechnic for Women - Bangalore -Government Polytechnic - Amravati -Government Polytechnic College - Ahmedabad -Hindustan Academy - Bangalore -Institute of Rail Transport - New Delhi -Kalpana Chawla Government Polytechnic for Women - Ambala -Meera Bai Polytechnic for Women - Delhi -MEI Polytechnic - Bangalore -Nirma University of Science & Technology - Ahmedabad -Polytechnic for Women South Ext. - Delhi -Rural polytechnic for Women - Ahmednagar |

Re: Percentage we need in 10th to get admission in Polytechnic?
actually percentage in 10 did not matter for admission in polytechnic because you have to give a entrance test for all colleges whether it is private or government all the things only depends ön your rank you have got in the exam.the better rank you have the better college you have for the admissiön.for government college your rank must be in top 10000 .thank you hope a better future for you.
