i got 58percent marks in pcm group i want to do petrochemical engineering may i do if there is another way to get admission please tell me soon?

Admission procedure is as same as for other Engineering.

You have to go through Engineering Entrance Exams like- AIEEE, ENAT, MH-CET, Joint Entrance of your own state etc.

Means the whole procedure is same as for persuing any Engineering degree in India.

Appearing for Entrance> Passing it> Appearing for Councelling> and get Admission.

So, prepare well for entrance and appear for it next year.

Even fo rgetting Direct Admission through MAnagement Quota you have to go through Any Entrance Exam.

the basic eligibility for admission for b.tech in Petrochemical Engineering is minimum 50% in pcm for open category & 50% for backward class (this is applicable only for MHT-CET 2010)
you can appear in exams like AIEEE, ENAT, MH-CET, Joint Entrance of your own state etc.

You can do the course from any of the college except ISM Dhanbad, because it requires you to qualify IIT-jee for which you need to have 60%+ in 12th.
You can apply to the rest of colleges through AIEEE or corresponding state entrance tests.

yes surely with PCM in 12th you can go for petrochemical engineering.
The minimum eligibility is to pass 12th with at least 50% marks with PCM.
For admission in top ranked petroleum engg colleges you have to appear at exams like AIEEE, and other state based entrance exams like MH-CET,KCET etc.

To get admission you have to answer AIEEE and even with a rank below 50,000 you can get a petro seat. There are some great colleges in India like PDPU,ISMU Dhanbad (Conducts thorugh IITs)

So prepare hard for IIT JEE,AIEEE and you will surely get admission into petroche engg course

However your board percentage of no value when it comes to entrance exams so entrance exams are the only way

if you want to take the admission in the petroleum engineering then you have to crack

the exams like IIT JEE , AIEEE , and some other state exams.

Sure u can get admission in polytechnical engineering after 12th.
but i will suggest u to take admission in B.Tech as its priority is higher then polytechnic.

However, as u choice u can take for higher study,for this u have to sit in some entrance exam such as WBJEE,IITJEE,AIEEE.
after passing those exams u will be called for counselling for college choosing.
there r so many high reputed institutes in India like
1:All IIT,
2:All NIT,
3:Govt. or private B.Tech colleges etc...

If you can appear for both the entrance exams.

AIEEE can get you in some of India's best Petroleum schools of NITs. And for getting a good job in this field in India, it is brand value of Institute is very much helpful. And Petroleum Engineers are required some special qualities which are not similar for any other engineering graduates. They have to work around the cloack even for 12 hours a day. Similarly there are few more qualities required which can be obtain by good Institutes only.

MH-CET is surely a good option but not opting for AIEEE is not wise attempt.

IITs have set eligibility as 80% in 12th, so you cannot get into IITs
some AIEEE colleges also has set 60% as eligibility (you are eligible for some of them)so better you try to get through entrance exam conducted by your state Government.

Through that you can get seat in Petrocehmical engineering in the colleges affiliated to your state universities.
There are only one or two colleges in each state.so better try for exams of other states also.

No friend, Petrochemical engineering is also offered with the rest of the subjects through AIEEE or JEE exams. The only thing is that one can choose option of the petrolium or petrochemical engineering in the counselling of the colleges like IITs or NITs. Still if you are unable to get admission in above universities or didnt get the good rank then you may enroll for following universities, they also offer BTech in petro subject and requires somewhat less rank. :

Petrochemical engineering admissions will be as similar to that of general engineering.

Here also you need to get good rank and with that rank you will be placed in good college.

the entrance exams will be AIEEE and ENA.

the admission procedure is same like other engineering courses. you have to appear in engineering entrance examination like AIEEE, IIT JEE, WBJEE and other state base engineering entrance examination. you have to secure a good position in the examination and after counseling you will be able to take admission in a collage.

eligibility criterion is you have to pass class 12 with science and with subject mathematics and physics. you have to secure minimum of 45% marks in mathematics and physics. this marks vary from entrance examination to examination. so you should aware of this for which entrance examination you will appear.

next one think there are some MNC which recruit student after engineering those have minimum of 60% marks throughout their career. also some company recruit without such criterion.

These days the demand of the petroleum engineering is growing up and there are a few universities/institues in India which are offering this course. After +2 if you want to study engineering you need to enter the entrance tests.There are many engineering entrance tests like Eamcet,AIEEE,IIt etc.
IIT::
If you want to study IIT then you need to write the IIT entrance test.You can get seat in the IIT colleges situated at kanpur,nagpur,chennai,madras,hyderabad etc.
AIEEE::
If you get qualified in AIEEE then you will get seat in NIT's
EAMCET::For local engineering colleges the entrance test is Eamcet.

Admission procedure is as same as for other Engineering.

You have to go through Engineering Entrance Exams like- AIEEE, ENAT, MH-CET, Joint Entrance of your own state etc.

Means the whole procedure is same as for persuing any Engineering degree in India.

Appearing for Entrance> Passing it> Appearing for Councelling> and get Admission.

So, prepare well for entrance and appear for it next year.

Even fo rgetting Direct Admission through MAnagement Quota you have to go through Any Entrance Exam.

The eligibility criteria for petroleum engineering are:
The candidates should have passed his 12th or equivalent exam and one shoild also qualify the entrance exam of AIEEE or JEE conducted by the IITs which will be an added advantage for admission to top institutes.

i got 48% pcm in 12th exam and 43 marks in jeemain.and i want to take admission in petrochemical
so give me list petrochemical collage in india related my merit.

I want add. in petrochemical ? But 1 problem I have got only 35 marks in phy. due to some problems but 64 in Chen and 62 in mahts and 76 in jee
