Hi, I completed my 10th board exams and there after I took a gap and did not took admission in 11th. So, having a year gap now is it possible to take admission in 12th directly under any Education Board recognized by Government?

No, you can not seek admission in Class 12th directly after your Class 10th even after an year gap, as the registration for Class 12th board examination is done while the student is pursuing his /her Class 11th in the case of most of the recognised board of education.

So, you have to first enroll yourself in Class 11th first and complete the same in order to get admitted to Class 12th in case of any recognised regular board of education.

1. This is not possible for any candidate to directly apply for board examination of 12th without registering for board examination in 11th standard.

2. You can not directly appear for board exam of 12th. You need to register for board exam in 11th standard with interested subjects and stream.

There is no possibility of getting admission directly in 12th standard after tenth board of Education. To appear for board examination, you need to take admission in 11th standard and register for board examination.

Eligibility to appear for board exam:

Candidate should first take admission in 11th standard and select their stream. Then register for board exam.

In next year you can appear for board exam of 12th.

Direct admission in 12th standard after tenth board of education is not possible.
