After 10th you can join as

Soldier General Duty

Eligibility: 45% marks in tenth

Age: between 17 ½ and 21 years

Selection: based on body strength, written exam and medical tests.

after completion of your 10+2 you are eligible for indian airforce exam.

you can enter in Air force after your 10th degree, but you are not eligible for pilot rank in Air force.
After 10th you can join as a non-tech department in Air force.
kindly read employment newspaper regularly for more details about issuing the application form, date of exams stc.
and
Basic qualification for pilot training is successful completion of 10+2 and equivalent with 50% marks in Physics and Maths. The applicant should have completed 17 years of age........

You can join, but you will not be able to make the most of it by joining as a lower category soldier.

So I would like to suggest you to first complete your 12th, then apply for NDA and join air force as a pilot. Now that is called real air force soldier.

You should not hurry that much and wait if you are going for graduation then you will find more better options as Aeronautical Engineer.

So its in your hands now what you want to be.

No you cannot join Indian airforce just after 10 class. You have to complete your 12 class which is the minimum educational qualification to join indian Airforce.

You can also join Indian Airforce after completing your graduation.

Following is the eligibility criteria to join Indian Airforce after 12.

1. Age: 16 1/2 -19 years.

2. Educational qualification: 10+2 with 60% in PCM from a recognised board.

3. Gender: Only male candidates can apply.

4. Nationality: Indian.

5. Marital Status: Unmarried.

No you cannot become a part of the Indian army at this stage as the eligibility criteria says that the candidates must have finished their respected +2 exam so that the candidates can apply for the exam.First finish your +2 with good marks then there are many chances of getting in Indian army.

it's nice to see your interest to join airforce.
yes you can go for air force after 12 class but you have to give NDA exam after that.
it goes in three phase:
1>you have to give ojective type written test
2>after clearing these exam you have to go through SSB interveiw.
3>after that you have to go through medical test

Hello sir, iam happy with your curiousity but now you cannot join air force because for this you need to be 12 qualified and you have to be and should prepare for nda and other exams

No, my friend you can not join in Indian Air force.. As you you have just completed your 10th..
to join in IAF you as an officer you have to first complete your graduation.. then you have to appear in exams like-

1.CDSE-combined defense service exam

2.EKT-engineering knowledge test- to appear in this exam you have to complete your graduation in engineering.

3.UES-university entry scheme

after clearing the written test they will call you for interview..

If you want to join in IAF only after completion of your 12th, then you can also go for it.. but you will not get any officer rank , then you can join in IAF as an 'AIRMEN'..

Sorry Friend,till you are not completed with your Intermediate 10+2 Exams you cannot be eligible for joinning Air Force.So for this you must secure aggregate marks of 66% in your 10+2.

I am very happy for you that you are chosing Air force as your career. It is a good choice. But for writing this exam you have to pass your 12th exam and not less than 19 years of age on the application time.

Hope you are not married as the requirement says that you should be single with 60% in PCM.

And everything is okay if you are fit.

WHAT IS THE SALARY IN AIR LINE

Yes you can join the Indian Air Force after your 10th standard. But you will not be able to join as an Officer in the IAF. You can only join as ground duty officers. The grades of these posts are names as GRADE X & Y. You will be able to join the IAF as an officer after your graduation. Another option is after +2, clear the UPSc exam and then joining the National Defence Academy.

The first thing you need to do is to take up science in your +2 level. There are many training academies in India which students can join in to after their +2. Entrance exams are carried out every year as to select candidates in to these academies. Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, dundigul Air Force Academy, Naval Academy are few of the academies to which students can enroll as to get direct entry in to the Defense. They have to appear in the nda exam for getting qualified into these academies. You will get further information from the official website regarding the joining procedures.

No you are not eligible to join Air Force having completed your 10th standard. At least you need 12th standard for qualification.

You can write NDA(national defence academy) exam conducted by UPSC(union public service commission) or CDS(common defence service)

* Candidates should be the citizen of India.
* Candidates should have age limit within 16.5 to 19 years
* Candidates should complete 12th from a recognized institute
* Candidates should study maths and physics at 12th.
* Unmarried male candidates can only appear the exam.
* Candidates should be physically fit.

You cannot write any entrance exam for joining in India Air Force with a qualification of just completing 10th.

the minimum education qualification needed for joining in Indian Air Force is +2.When you finish your +2,you can apply for the NDA Exam which offers you to join in Indian Air Force.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy

This exam is being carried out by UPSC and is held every year twice namley as NDA I and NDA II.

For writing this exam there are certain framed criteria's which you must satisfy to write the exam and they are:

Eligibility for NDA:

Candidate appearing for the exam must be a citizen of India and must be a unmarried male candidate.The age limit for the NDA exam is 16 1/2-19 years.Education qualification needed for the NDA Exam for joining in Air Force,is that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education.Candidate appearing must be physically fit.
