Re: Is this possible to do Biotechnology after the completion of BCA? Difference between Biotechnology and Bio-Informatics?
Differences between Bioinformatics and Biotechnology are Bioinformatics primarily deals with the study of the minute particles that make up the biological processes and things.Bioinformatic is using computer to analyse bio-data,where as Biotechnology is based on technology on boilogy, agriculture, food science.etc ,can include gene manipulation, amplification, forensics etc.
As per my knowlege the eligibility for admission in Bioinformatics or Biotechnology you should have a pass in the 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science as optional subjects, therefore entrance examinations for this Biotechnology and Bioinformatics course are conducted at various centres across the country. |
