VAO stands for Village Administrative Officers which is conducted by TNPSC.

If you have completed graduation degree then you are applicable for VAO exam but you age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide as per govt rule But you must know the Tamil language.

Tamil Nadu Government recently issued notifications regarding 1870 VAO vacancies in the state.

VAO is the short form of Village Administrative Officers and their recruitment is done by TNPSC. To sit for this exam you have to satisfy certain criteria as mentioned below:

~You should possess SSLC certificate or its equivalent to sit for this exam or higher education qualification like intermediate or degree

~Thus the minimum qualification required is SSLC.

~The age limit for this exam is different for different categories. While giving this exam your minimum age should be 21 years.

~The upper age limit in case of general category is 30 years and for the reserved categories is 40.

~The selection is basically based on written exam and personal interview session.

~Questions will come from general knowledge and general english/general tamil. Total marks alloted for the exam is 300 marks

~You need to have minimum ninety marks to qualify for this exam. On failing to do so you wont be selected.
