GATE is conducted for many streams viz computer science, electrical, electronics & comm, mechanical, civil, MCA, biotechnology etc.
GATE, conducted for admission in IITs, is an online exam now. Score card is valid for 3 years. You have to clear interview, before final selections are complete.
