West Bengal Forest Service Examination consists of two exams,

♫ Preliminary exam.

♫ Main Exam.

► Syllabus and Pattern of Preliminary examination is given Below:

• English Composition - 20 marks
• General Science - 25 marks
• Current Events of National and International Importance - 25 marks
• History of India - 25 marks
• World Geography - 25 marks
• Indian Polity and Economy - 20 marks
• Indian National Movement - 20 marks
• General Mental Ability - 20 marks
• Arithmetic - 20 marks

► And here is the Syllabus and Pattern for Main Examination:

♫ Compulsory Subjects:

• Paper - I : English Essay, Precis Writing and Composition;
• Paper - II : Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali (Essay, precis writing and composition);
• Paper - III: General Studies

♫ Optional Subjects:
