Is private university's degree acceptable for Block Development Officer (BDO) post?
I am studying B.Sc Agriculture from Neotia University (TNU), West Bengal. Will I be able to take the BDO (Block Development Officer) entrance exam after four years of this university course as Neotia University (TNU) is a private university?

Yes, candidates passed bachelor degree from a recognised university are eligible to appear in the examination.
So, you can appear in the examination and after qualifying in the examination will become eligible for final selection. For recruitment as BDO examination is conducted by state Public service commission. So, age limit varies with examination. |

Yes, private university's degree is acceptable for Block Development Officer (BDO) post. Yes, you will be able to take the BDO (Block Development Officer) entrance exam after four years of Neotia University (TNU). The Neotia University is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grants Commission (UGC).
BDO stand for Block Development Officer. Examination for the post of BDO is conducted by State Public Service Commission. Eligibility criteria : Candidate must have passed graduation degree from any recognized university in any discipline. Age of candidate must be from 21 to 35 years. Also there is relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government norms. Relaxation of 3 years is there for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC and ST candidates, 10 years for physically handicapped candidates. Selection Procedure : Written Exam : It consists of General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mental Ability and Verbal Ability. Personal Interview : Candidate who passed written exam will be called for personal interview. |
