Procedure to apply for AIPMT Exam? Date of this Exam?


i would like to know about the date and the procedure to apply the aipmt form

All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) is a medical entrance examination. This exam is conducted by the CBSE i.e Central Board Of Secondary Education every year.

Procedure to apply for AIPMT Exam
The application form of AIPMT can be obtained from the Canra Bank. Candidate can also apply online for the AIPMT exam through web site
www.aipmt.nic.in
Candidate can pay the fee online through credit card or by sending DD along the printed application form.

Date of this Exam
This exam is conducted every year in the month of April(Preliminary examination) and in the month of may (main examination).
The forms can be obtained in the month of october.

AIPMT is all India Medical Entrance Test.Only 12th standard student are applicable.

Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIPMT exam but your 12th standard subject must be Physics , Chemistry , Bio logy and English.

Also you must have score 50% in all above mention subjects.

For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Your minimum age should be 17 years.

The examination Date for AIPMT exam is not announced yet.

Courses Offered - CBSE PMT
Following courses are offered by CBSE PMT at Underghraduate and Post Graduate level for admission to different programs
· MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery
· BDS - Bachelor of Dental Sciences
CBSE PMT Syllabus
Eligibility - CBSE PMT
· The aspirants must attain minimum of 17 years of age. The maximum age for the entrance axam is 25, but for the SC/ST candidates, there is a relaxation in the age of 5 years.
· The aspirants can appear for the entrance exam three times, as per the norms of the University.
· The candidate must have cleared his/her 10+2 exam / Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination / Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination or its equivalent minimum 50% marks (40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, from any Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other recognized Board.
· The candidates, who are appearing in qualifying examination or who have appeared in the examination and waiting for results, may also apply for the competitive entrance test. But those candidates are not eligible, who have not passed the qualifying examination with required percentage of marks.
Exam Pattern - CBSE PMT
The students must follows the following exam pattern to clear CBSE PMT. The candidate should also practice the previous year papers to become familier with exam pattern and time duration.

Preliminary Examination
The question paper consists of 200 multiple choice type questions. The candidates have to click the right answer only by using Ball Point Pen on specially designed machine-gradable sheet. The questions are based on the science subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The Physics and Chemistry part of the question paper comprise 50 questions each while Biology (Botany & Zoology) part consists of 100 questions. The candidates are expected to answer all the questions within three hours duration.

Final Examination
Only those candidates are eligible to appear in the Final Examination, who have cleared the Preliminary Examination of CBSE PMT. The pattern of final exam is as follows: The examination consists of two papers and both the papers are of objective types: Paper one - Physics and Chemistry Paper two - Biology / Botany / Zoology Students have to answer all the questions on machine-gradable sheet with using Ball Point Pen only. The students have to complete each paper within two hours.

for appearing in aipmt , you must be 12th passed with 50% marks in physics , chemistry and biology. it is conducted by cbse in the month april for prelimnary and in may for mains.
