respected sir,i am prapti singh ,i am pursuing btech in electrical and electronics eng from babu banarsi das national institute of tech lucknow,im in 2nd year.please tel me how can i get a job in isro related to my branch,which procedures should i follow,what minimum percentage should i maintain so that i can get through it.

You can apply for ISRO after completing your B.Tech degree.

For that you should maintain 60% marks in your B.Tech degree.

isro conducts entrance exam for b.tech holders and on passing that exam you can enter in isro. but there is some elligibility criteria and is a standard exam and not easy .your 10th and 12th percentage should be atleast 70%. and more importantly no backlogs in b.tech

You can apply in ISRO after you have completed B,Tech. The minimum percentage required in B.Tech. is 65% and the age limit is between 21-30years.Normally every year ISRO invites freshers for job.All you have to do is to fill a form and then written test will be taken & then there will be an interview and the selected candidate will be chosen.

Qualifications (518 to 524) : First Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology in the respective disciplines.

Age (as on 30.11.2008) : 35 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC Candidates).

Stipend: Graduate Apprentice - Rs.5000/-

General Instructions :
a) Period of Training is ONE YEAR. Selected Candidates will be registered under the Apprentice Act 1961.
b) Professional Degree should have been obtained from a recognized University/ Institution.

what type of a knowledge shud a normal aeronautical engg shud have to go into a good position in isro

You have to appear for ISRO recruitment exams for which the eligibility criteria is given below:

Eligibility for Isro Exam 2011:
BE/B.Tech or equivalent in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters for which results are available). Candidates who are slated to complete the BE/B.Tech course in the academic year 2010-11 are also eligible to apply provided final Degree is available by 31.8.2011

there are lots of good jobs that you can get with you course..in this field..

but before that there are lots of requirements for it.. some of it are as follows..

1.. you must have a master degree with minimum of 60%..

2.. only those who posses first class degree are eligible..

3.. age limitations is not more then 35 of years..

sir actually am maintaing 65% above upto b.tech,,but i got some backlog,now its completed ,shull i try to get job in isro.

Dear friend,

Every year ISRO select the candidate in one process those are qualify GATE exam with good score are called for direct interview.

And 2 nd option , first you have to cleared written exam then you will be called for interview.

Yes, B-TECH(IT) student are eligible for ISRO exam.

Those candidate have completed B-TECH degree or final year student are eligible for ISRO exam.

but your graduation marks must be above 65% .

The age criteria is given below-

For general candidate - 35 years
For OBC candidate - 38 years
For SC/ST candidate -40 years.

Exam Patterns are-

Total No. of question:80
Total time:90 mins
Marking system:+3 for corerct answer, -1 for wrong answer

After completing diploma course,candidate can directly continue their B-tech course from 2nd year onwards.

To get admission in B-tech colleges,there two ways,first one is by appear entrance for enter for engineering,which will held separately for Diploma candidate in each state.If you qualify in that exam,you will get admission in engineering with less amount.

If you are not qualified in the exam or not gave the exam,in this situation,you can get admission directly,but have to spend more amount than for actual fees.

sir,i have got 70 % marks in 12th and 75 % marks in b.tech but i have got 65% in 10th...and if i qualify GATE entrance...can i eligible for isro exam....
