Hello, I want to start the National Service Scheme in my college. So, I want to know about the process for starting this NSS Scheme. If you know then kindly tell me the procedure asap. Thank you!

An institution will be allotted National Service Schemes(NSS) units according to the strength of students. The number of units will be allotted by the Programme Coordinator in consultation with NSS Regional Directorate and State NSS Officer considering the demands of the institution.

Procedure

>> College Principal have to write an application letter to NSS Regional directorate and State NSS officer regarding the wish to start NSS in own college.
>>Then, if the authority takes decision to provide NSS in that college, they will reply to the letter and will inform them about the terms and conditions.
